Promaster LD 70-300mm 4-5.6 = poorly rated lens (the 1:3.8 macro version) - use it at 300mm with good sunlight, not too shabby especially on an old sensor...

Same fence post, same lens, but from farther back. Little white asters turned to effervescence. Couldn't see it that coming through the viewfinder, so it was a fun surprise.
