I hope you and M are doing well
M & I are OK after she recovered fully from a very bad case of anaplasmosis. Delayed diagnosis was the problem, it sent her to the emergency room and into ICU following a 911 call, but she's more than 90% back to normal. Our new Sheltie, Dahlia, fell sick, Refused any form of food or treat for two days and started to act lethargic. Our regular vet via phone directed us to take her immediately to the local 24/7 emergency vet service. Turns out she has Lyme disease despite a vaccination for it and monthly anti flea & tick medication. So two of the four of us have been infected by ticks. Annabelle seems only to have problems with hairballs (she up chucked a whopper on the deck this week). And me? Well, with all the money we give the government they still don't have something for aging. Maybe I should try hydroxychloroquine. Is that taken orally, by injection, or inhaled in vapor form? Maybe it comes as a suppository.
