Need help...will these work

Hi everyone, i am posting 2 links to Ebay, I want to know if these will Auto Focus on my Pentax Kx? I know they say so, but I am not sure and neither is the person selling them. I know they will still have a crop factor, Im not worried about that, just need an AF lens as all mine are full Manual focus/operation.

If neither of these will AF can someone direct to me some cheap ones that will if possible?? Thank You I appreciate it

Those are bad links -- too many http's. But yes, both lenses, the Pentax F35-80 and the Tamron 28-80, will autofocus on your Kx. Check the lens review database here. I think the F35-80 gets little respect. The Tamron may or may net be any good, but at the US$70 I see it at now, it is definitely overpriced. Don't pay more than US$30 for either of those.

Your ebay links aren't working, but I was able to check the pages, both of these lens will autofocus. In my opinion both of these are overpriced, maybe the Tamron is not so much since it is supposed to be new. The 35-80 should be a lot cheaper. You'll get better deals on ebay if you look in the film camera category and buy lenses that are sold with cameras. Usually "buy it nows" are overpriced, if not they go quickly, minutes after listing. Regularly some of the ZX and MZ series cameras with these lenses will go under $30 US with shipping.

I think this would be a better lens to look for. I got one last year with a SF1 camera for $45.00.

Yes, the F35-70 is a real sleeper. Good optics, fast AF, what I call 'agile'. Mine came with a SF1 and I sold the body so the lens cost me TEN BUCKS! It's a favorite.
