lens decision?

I mentioned on another thread that I'm looking for a real good macro lens in the $700 range. I was going to get a lonnggg lens but I think that I will use the macro a lot more with the good weather only a few months away.---charliezap

DFA 100mm WR macro
DFA 50mm macro
DA 35mm f2.8 macro

All are sharp, pick whichever focal length you prefer

I would go for the Sigma 105mm or the Tamron 90mm if you want to save a few dollars or the Pentax 100mm if you want the weather resistance.

Actually, the new Sigma 150mm macro is rumored to be coming, but I am not sure how much that will be.

Thanks for the feedback so far. The Sigma and Tamaron have been on my radar screen because Tess and Eaglem do use them and their pictures are a very good
quality from the optics besides the subject matter.I have looked at the 100mm pentax also.So far the consensus has been going in a favorable direction to make my decision that much easier.---charliezap
