F-50, My first AF prime!

I'm as happy as a dog with two bones!
My Pentax-F 1.7 50mm came today, and I'm lovin' it!

After playing with my old manual 50's, M/1.7 and A/2, I was ready give these old eyes a break.

I'm amazed, mostly by the very fast focus when compared to my 18-55 Da-Al, and 55-300 DA ED, and older Sigma zooms from my SF1 days.

My new walk around lens for sure.

Hopefully my pic will show up

congrats. The lens seems small/thin. but I'm guessing its the same size as the M50 F1.7.

Sexy lens, congrats.

I love my A 50 1.7. AF would really help sometimes, too.

F lenses are really great lenses. I love my F 28mm. It renders some of the best IQ I have seen with most cameras. In the near future I will be looking for a 50mm also. Congrats & Enjoy!

This lens is a real marvel. Colours are a bit cool, but the AF speed, AF accuracy, sharpness, and bokeh make it very unique! What a great piece of optics!

Congrats. I replaced my A50 1.7 with the F50 1.7, it is indeed an optical marvel. The only real downside was that it lead me to buy the F70-210 (really good), the F28 (brilliant) and the F135 (outstanding). Enjoy.

Congrats on that one. I'd love to give you advice if I may. Never, ever sell that lens! I've done that year back and have regretted it million times over ever since!
