What's the one lens currently available you wished they'd make for Pentax dSLR?

I really wish there is a Pentax version of the Canon 85mm f1.2L II. I'm no canon fanboy, but that lens is a serious beauty.

Please, only actual lenses that exist. No 50mm f0.5 or something like that...

I'd like the Nikon 24mm f/1.4, but a smaller, less expensive version...and the affordable 85mm 1.8 as well.

A nice 70-200 or 100-300 f2.8, like the Canon or Nikon versions. The kit really needs a nice sports telephoto in the Pentax branding. And let's keep the cost under $900.

As long as we are wishing!

Since we're talking about the 70-200 2.8, please just bring back the Pentax version. That was a stellar lens.

Easy... DA* version of either the sigma 8-16 or Tokina 11-16, sigma would be my preference as I'd take the 8mm over the f2.8 when carried with the 16-50. I really want a weather sealed uwa from pentax that gets down to atleast 11mm.

Well, Sigma just announced that they are going to release the 120-300mm f2.8 in May, but it's going to cost some $,$$$. I really wish that Sigma would release the 300-800mm f5.6 for Pentax. That lens would be awesome with the K5.

While you can still order a FA*600 from Pentax Japan, a current 600 or longer would help.....

Best bet is to find someone here willing to help. I would but I am in Canada. I bought both the K20d Titan and K-7 Silver from great folks on the forum. Make it known and get to know folks and they can help. Of course help them in return.

17 or 18mm AF prime, preferably around f/2.8

15 is too wide, 21 is too long
