Tamron 60mm f2 macro. Would love to use the fastest macro available. Sure 2.5 is nice but 2.0 and 60mm is just the right combination on APS-C. Great for portraits wide open and an even brighter viewfinder than on the older manual focus lenses with a max aperture of f2.5.

If it won't come available for Pentax maybe I resort to buying a Nikon D90 just to use this lens.

Well updated lenses would also be nice. New SDM-II engine in the current lenses of the DA* range. SDM should be faster and no worry's about dying

Cheap DA-L 20-100mm/f3,5-f4,5 lens would be a nice travel lens.

New DA*85mm/f1.4.
New DA*80-200mm/f2.8
New DA*180mm/f2.0 or DA*135mm/f2.0 or in between.
New DA*28mm/f1.4
New DA*200mm/f4 macro with diafragmaring
New DA*300mm/f2.8
New DA*400mm/f4
New DA400mm/f5.6WR cheap lens
New DA*500mm/f4.5
New DA*600mm/f5.6
New macro rings with contacts so lenses act as A-lens.
New Teleconverters, supporting SDM, 1.4x 1.7x 2x

That is enough for now. I'm not so into wideangle myself.
Very nice list of lenses that should be in the Pentax lens line-up. I will buy several of them:
DA*85/1.4
DA*28/1.4
DA*200/4.0 macro
DA*500/4.5

Also Pentax needs several wide angle lenses like:
DA*20/2.0
DA*12/3.2

Then there are the zoom lenses:
DA*11-16
DA*135-400

Then to pair up with the DA*80-200/2.8 on your list the following would be nice:
DA*12-24/2.8
DA*24-80/2.8
DA*200-400

We really need more high-end lenses.

Entry lens: Revive the K 55mm f1.8.

Top lens: Gonna agree with the 85mm f1.2/1.4 people. 24mm f2 would be nice as well.

200mm 2.8L II from Canon - what a steal. That thing is right in my wheelhouse. The search continues for an equivalent....

Also, as a former owner of the Canon 70-200mm f4L, I have to agree with the esteemed earlier poster - great price/IQ/AF.

Also, can a brutha' get a cheap AF 50mm up in here??

+1 with a bullet!

A venerable and outstanding Canon lens. One of the great indoor sports/concert, long portrait/wildlife lenses! 200mm on a K-5

They are down to about $1100 in Oz - not much more than the Adorama price.

I'm tossing up between a Canon 7D - Nikon D7000 - Pentax K-5 (not necessarily in that order) at the moment.

Now if Pentax would make a comparable 135 mm f/2 for $7-800 .......

70-200 2.8! I need this lens and regret that I will probably give Sigma my money to meet this need instead of Pentax. Under $900 would be ideal, but I'd spend up to $1,000.

Also, a nice 24-70 2.8 would be a good offering. If Pentax offered these two lenses, I am certain they would gain more pro/event shooters. I am one myself, but I dislike having to turn to Sigma and Tamron to meet these needs.

Btw, both of these would be weather sealed and have the dc motors found in the 18-135 for the AF, which is hopefully more reliable than the regular SDM...

This kit would be beyond epic, but why not make the 12-24 a 10-24 to compare with Sigmas offering? Then I would have to buy all of them...

Something like the Leica Summicron-M 50 mm F1:2, built like the DA limiteds, this would make me very happy! The same for the Tele-Elmarit-M 90mm and the Telyt 135mm...
Pentax can do this, as they have already a lot of knowledge about building good primes!

Pentax really should make the 135mm f/2.8 again.
In any of the following forms would be fine-
-DA
-DA ltd (maybe too big)
-DA* (make it faster)
-DA-L
-DA WR

I envy the Nikon guy a bit for their very cheap but apperently good Nikkor AF-S 35mm f/1.8 !
OK, Pentax got a decent 35mm f/2.4 in this range, but f/1.8 for such a price would make the decision for a must-have normal lens much easier for me.
