Sigma 70-210 UC II on DSLR?

I was wondering if the Sigma 70-210 k mount lens would autofocus on a Pentax K-x?
I should clarify this question.
I know this lens can AF on digital cameras, but I've heard, especially on Canon and Sony bodies, that the lens has to be "re-chipped"
I haven't seen on any forums about this happening with Pentax, but I'm wondering if anyone has run into any problems.

Any K-mount AF lens will autofocus on any Pentax AF camera with just a few exceptions. The exceptions being the ME-F and its SMC Pentax-AF 35-70mm f/2.8 and the SDM lenses on film bodies, *ist bodies and the K100D.
