So how many people try to blow on your lens tower as they pass by?

Well, I'd only do this kind of crazy stuff after midnight, when the kids and wife are asleep

Hi Frank

Judging by the photo of your ultra-rare FA* 85-200-300 star zoom, I can't help thinking that you must have worked for NASA at one point during your career ! Incidentally, I'm hoping for ring-side seats and want to know precisely what time blast-off is due to take place ?

Best regards
Richard

Well, actually I'm still working hard to make a living for the family. Sometimes I feel abit guilty to have these star lenses but meantime try to save every penny for baby's diapers and milk . Luckily I got these lenses for bargain prices, otherwise I wouldn't have bought them

A recent one. Only thing missing is the k100d and pentax 18-35 that was used to take the shot.

Well, I'm about to have a fire sale to pay for some new DA* lenses, but right now I have the following:
- K100D
- K10D
- DA 10-17 fisheye zoom
- DA 18-55
- DA 50-200
- DA* 50-135 (due in this week)
- FA50 f/1.4
- SMC-A 28mm f/2.8
- SMC-A 70-210 f/4.0
- SMC-A 135mm f/2.8
- SMC 300mm f/4.0
- SMC 1.7x AF converter
- Tamron 28-300 XR
- Tamron 18-250
- Vivitar Series 1 (version 3) 70-210 f/2.8-4 (auto aperture)
- Tokina AT-X 80-200 f/2.8
- Sigma 50-500 (aka "the Bigma"), plus the Sigma 1.4x teleconverter
- Dynatran (from Amvona) AT-6703 tripod with pistol grip ball head
- Case Logic computer/camera bag
- Naneu Pro Echo sling bag
- Gorilla pod
- Op/Tech SLR and SLR Zoom neoprene cases
- a few filters and another cheap-o 2X teleconverter
- and a Pentax right angle viewfinder that doesn't fit my cameras (at least as far as I can figure out)

I think that's it. After I sell all the stuff I want to get rid of, I figure I'll be left with the K10D, the FA50, the 10-17 fisheye zoom, the 18-250, the Bigma (and TC), the 50-135, and a few newbies. I may add the FA77 Ltd since I really like lower light capability, and the K10D is at a disadvantage over the K100D. Also, I'll probably get the DA*16-50 f/2.8. Depending on price, I'll try to get the DA* 300 f/4.5.

<edit> I just added the FA77 Ltd. The rebate made it a good deal. Yeah, that's the ticket! I can stop whenever I want! Seriously!

Ben was quoting my photo, but on to the question. Its like a blueish grey with light grey leather on the sides. Ive got the little leather case for it somewhere, but thats falling apart now unfortunately.

Rainer. I see you spent about the same as I did for a flash diffuser. It works great even if it appears a little funny.

Thanks,

Greg
Hey! First of all thanks for posting 100-300 f/4.0 photos! I'm also very interested in this lens! Have you got some shots taken with 70-200 F/2.8?! Could you post them and comment on Pentax version of this lens!?!

Thanks a lot!
