There is an old Pentax 55/1.2? I'm curious since 55 is closer to 85 on film, so it would be better than the 50/1.2.

Mike, does your Sigma 14 EX suffer from the focus change at f5.6 issue?

:ugh: actually I've not notice that before. I guess thats because I predominantly use this lens indoor or at night, so always shoot wide open. Are there documented issues some where online?

I might go and try some day time landscape to investigate more.

Brett St Pierre and I documented this on the DPreview Pentax forum. Do a search, I don't want to post a link to DPreview from here.

Basically, don't AF past f5. One of the reasons I have disabled AF on shutter half press on my GX10. I've sent the lens back to CRK to see if they can fix the issue.

But for the AF issue, this is a very sharp lens, and its speciality is complete lack of CAs.
