No, I don't mind your posting my gear list here. As you may imagine, it's daunting to consider how to set it it all up for a meaningful photograph. I suppose that I will eventually get around to arranging my gear in some sort of logical subgroups so that the size of each is not too large. Maybe someday...

Understood and a very good point about price. I agree with you on that... I've got a couple of $30 -$40 lenses that take great images.

BTW, these lenses were purchased with my bonuses last year (very good year!)... so there wasn't a lot of pain in financial terms...

Frank, you might be the only person I've seen that actually has one of the Limited K10D Grand Prix cameras. I love the brown leather wrap on those, but can't justify the price for my own uses. Very nice lens collection too by the way.

Not being a previous Pentax convert, there are obviously a ton of lenses that I've never encountered before. Looking at the photograph of your FA* 300/2.8, I was slight intrigued by all the auxilliary apendages sprouting from the bodywork. I think I've worked out the purpose of the ones which are intended to support a carrying strap and also the locking collar to enable the body & lens to be rotated to the desired position, but what does the one nearest the bayonet mount do ?
