Tokina lense on a Kx via adapter

This may be the wrong forum for this question, so if the mods could move it if it is I would appriciate it.

I did a search and found nothing pertaining to my question. But, my search-fu may be weak.

Has anyone had success using a 12-24 or 11-16 Tokina in Canon of Nikon mount on a Petax DLSR via an adapter ring?

The Canon EF-S mount can not be adapted to K-mount. Nikon adapters exist, but the adapters act as a short teleconverter. In addition to the 1.2x extension the optics used in the converter reduce optical quality, particularly wide open. Without the optics the lens will not focus to infinity. Non-AF Nikon lenses can be force fit to K-mount, but not AF lenses.
