Lenses for Pentax K-x

Hello this is my first post.

I just bought a Pentax K-x with 18-55 mm and 50-200mm lenses.
I would like to known if this kit from Amazon is suitable to extend the limits of my lenses:
.42x HD Super Wide Angle Fisheye Lens + 2x Digital: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

I love to shots landscapes and close-ups (insects, flowers, etc). Me wife is in so called "food-porn"...

Any suggestion is welcome...

Thanks!

Those types of lenses generally are paperweights. The tripod is likely too small and/or flimsy to be useful. The filters are probably poor quality and the UV and FLD are no longer needed with digital cameras (and I don't even recommend using "good" ones), the bag is probably too small for the body and your existing 2 lenses plus the stuff they are selling. I would never recommend or use a lens cap with keeper string.

The big rocket blower and the lens pen may be useful.

Welcome here.
Any adapter you apply onto those lenses will further degrade their already mediocre image quality and you may find it unacceptable for your purposes. If you're looking for frequent use of a fish eye lens, then consider investing in the DA 10-17 lens Pentax produces, which has excellent image and build qualities. Sample images are featured in this thread: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/lens-clubs/33549-fisheye-fever-club-flaun...ye-photos.html

The collection of sutff is junk I'm afraid. A much better idea would be to work out what pictures you want, and then figure out what you need to buy (if anything) to take those pictures.

Hey freelander.

I'm gonna suggest, to extend that basic kit, that you buy one fast prime (wide aperture).

A killer lens is the 50mm f1.7. They can be had for next to nothing (manual focus) and are great in low light. Try out 50mm on your zoom and see how you like it.

If 50mm is too tight, you might want to consider the 35mm f2.4. Once again, the lens is better in low light than your kit zoom.

The KX has great high ISO. With a little bump from a fast lens, you will be able to take really nice photos in situations you could not before.
