FA43 or DA35 Macro or Both? Sanity check

when i want sharpness, i go for the DA35. when i want pixie dust, i take the FA43.
is that enough to keep both? haha

Absolutely. I wanted both and decided to just do it. I also want more but now must desist for a while until my CC recovers (6 months: 3 primes, 2 WR, a K-r and a K-5... seriously I think I have not LBA, not CBA, but just BA)

Is the DA 35 really that much sharper than the FA 43 stopped down?

I don't think so, but that's a subjective assessment. I have the 35 for its macro capacity, you just can't get as close to an object with the 43. Sharpness is much of a muchness, IMO.
