I spoke with Pentax again and they did not receive shipment on the 21st. I was told that I was guaranteed a Silver version, but I'm curious what other people are hearing who ordered/pre-ordered?

No, the Silver 40 and 70 are now in stock at the Pentax Webstore and ready for immediate shipment. Unfortunately, the 21 isn't yet.

Still shows pre-order for the U.S., but hopefully U.K. availability is a good sign for us as well.

Looks like a different shade of silver between the lens and body too

I suspect the new silver DA Ltds will match the body. The FA ltds were a good match for the chrome film bodies.
