Amy......Prodigital 2000 on ebay has the 31mm in Silver listed pretty regularly. They don't have it right now, but they did a week or so ago. You could give them a call and see when they expect stock. I got my 77 Silver from them and the service was great.

I did call them. They are out of stock with no ETA. I know the one you're talking about that the had because I was watching it until it sold. Unfortunately, my tax refund's timing was off!

When I got my 77 from them I had just missed another one on eBay. They didn't have a good eta on more stock, but it turned out to be only two weeks so hopefully they'll get another 31. I really want to get one of these as well, but want to go a little wider first with the 21. Too many nice lenses and not enough cash!

I ordered a 21 Silver too, and it's still showing as "pending approval - to be picked" on the Pentax Webstore...

And progress on yours Paul?

I cannot decide if I want all three silver DAs or not.
I have a silver K-5 and a black DA 40. Together they look good. A silver lens would -of course- also look good, maybe better. However, if someday I would have a black "main" camera then the silver lens on a black body looks IMHO a little strange. I also have a black K-x as second body...

Silver lens:
+Exclusive and expensive look
+Fits my camera
+scratches are hardly visible
-more expensive
-looks not so good on a black body
-only available for a short time, so I have to hurry with my decision

Black lens:
+Standard, but still sexy, look
+Fits silver and black cameras
+cheaper
+if something happens to the lens, i can easily replace it
-scratches are visible as silver spots

However, I have the feel that my silver K-5 needs their silver frieds and I dont know what to do. Please help me, else I buy them all. LBA alarm !!!! :-)

Not yet. They indicated May 21st as the next potential delivery date, but that was a definite "maybe"

That is a good sign. Unfortunately when I ordered mine, I did it as guest so I can't track it online. I'm probably going to call again tomorrow and see if they have an update. I'm going for a mix as well with the 21, 43 and 77. Will probably add the 15 at some point as well.
