I don't think it's necessary to post eBay auctions on the forum. If someone is looking for a macro lens, they can do it in the Marketplace forum or on their own on eBay.

Yup, should be of Komine manufacture. I have the 90mm f2.8 macro and its just like the one in the link but a tad longer. Font and magnification scales are all the same.

Great lens! Just don't do too high though. There are plenty of MC Industar-61 L/Z and Volna-9 Macros (both M42 and 1:2 I think) and have very reputable image quality as well and are usually posted in <$60 Buy-It-Nows

Itend to agree. nothing personal, but it seems more and more listings in this marketplace are to promote items that have been listed on Ebay. Personally I dont think that was the purpose of this Marketplace.
However, no worries, I think the lens you mention here will be a great buy for a succesful bidder.

I personally don't think there is anything wrong with the postings. I too would be appreciative should I be looking for an item which iludes me.

No offence Mike, but what's the difference between a link and your signature links.

I feel the same as JCSullivan and from another thread Mo has no issue with it either as long as the posts stay out of the Marketplace sub forum which is just for members to sell directly. Bramela is right and the Ebay listings should stay out of the Marketplace forum and be listed in the General talk sub forum..

I just asked about this very topic in the Help forum, and Mo explained his viewpoint very clearly. These kinds of posts are fine for the appropriate talk forum...but third party finds should stay out of the Marketplace. Makes sense to me.
