A lucky trip to a second hand store.

I stopped by a local second hand shop and found this nice package .

Pentax 50mm f1.4
Pentax 50mm f1.7
Pentax 135mm f3.5
Vivitar 35mm f2.8
Vivitar 135mm f2.8
Vivitar 85-205mm f3.5 macro
Vivitar 55mm f2.8 macro
Starblitz 28-80mm f3.5
Jc Penney 80-200mm f4.5

Also 3 Pentax bodies, numerous filters, lightmeter, etc.. Everything is in great shape with only some dust, no fungus at all. After picking up an m42 to pk adapter I have tested all of the lenses and they work great! The Vivitar 55mm f2.8 macro has fast become a favorite lens!!! I got this all for only $90, so I think I did rather well.

Very good deal.
Apparently they didn't know what they had. the 50 1.4 would fetch that most times
I love coming across deals like that (says the guy with 17 cameras now)

I have that Vivitar 55mm macro (M42 version) and it's a brilliant lens.

Great! Lets not call this LBA, but rather good, sensible, well considered investment, which with reasonable risk, might add value to your estate (or that is more or less what I am telling my wife, accompanied with some flowers)

This Vivitar is a M42 version also. I have been so impressed with its performance, that is it the one that resides on my K7 98% of the time. My spouse was with me when I bought these and she didnt say a word, but now Im wondering if I should be worrying?? lol. I just went to an estate auction last week and picked up 4 old-antique cameras with several flash units and only spent $25 on that lot.

I got a 50mm 1.4 M lens at a pawnshop for $15. The owner was glad to get rid of it.

Lucky me!

Happened to me once at a garage sale. Super program, A50 f1,4 and AF280T flash (plus a few filters) for 10$...

I could not believe my luck. Never happened again.
