Not enough? Are you kidding? I think you have too many 50s. I'd be glad to take one (or more!) off your hands.

Nice collection.

I have 14 50's, 2 55's, & 1 58. Just getting started. Of course, none of those are AF.

Sweet collection!

I love that 70-210, enjoy the 50 1.7, love the 1.4.

I really like the look of the F series. I thought it would look stupid on my camera, but when I hook up the 70-210, it actually looks pretty cool (very utilitarian).

Indeed. I have take RioRico's rules of lens buying to heart. If it costs the same as a burger or sandwich, buy it. If it cost's more than a fancy large pizza, think really hard about it, and if it sucks sell it in a month or two. I don't have a spouse so I can ignore his third rule.

i have the spouse so rule 3 is important. and yep the cost has a lot to do with it. my most recent 50 was about the same price as a few pints round the pub so i'll skip the pub for a day

my issue is i never sell the damn stuff on
there must be some hoarder in me

I have very very little expendable income, but for the last 10 years of my life, I have only purchased expensive things that retain their value, and most of these things I have purchased used.

Most of the things I have purchased, I have sold. Often at a small profit (5%).

I have had the privilege of tasting many fine lenses, guitars, and effect pedals... and it has cost me nothing. The only downside is that I cannot have them all at the same time.

Don't be afraid to sell your things. Just be afraid to sell them for less than you paid for them.

not much chance of me selling them for less, on average right now my manual focus lenses (13 of them) have an average cost of $39.16

The worst valued from a resale standpoint is at least $50 the best probably would fetch 120 or so. on average i think i could get an average sell of 75-80

Like Rico I am parsimonious when buying with an eye to turning them for a profit when i tire of them
i just never seem to tire of the ones i have so far (i have 2 m 50 f1.7 but right now one is glued to my k7 the other to my km film camera, my 501.4 tak is on the spotmatic, the 55 tak on the hv and the 55 2.0 on the mx(which needs repairs) the odd man out is the new industar 50 but it is a different beast altogether

If i was to sell anything right now it would be an old Rokinon 135 f3.5 and a Tokina RMC 70-200 f4.0 maybe one of the 50 f1.7 and the 55 f2.0
the rest are all too good to let go

can't help Ira my taks amount to a 50 f1.4 and a 55 f1.8. If I had one i'd probably let it go because i really like my m50 f3.5 it's just so sharp

I'm up to about 50 Fifty's -- that's everything from 50mm to 60mm. That's 30 @ 50mm, 12 @ 55mm, the rest scattered about in there. And a few more if I count 45's. Yeah, it''s a start.

NOTE: Those numbers include about 10 that are or will be up for sale, and don't include a some that should arrive soon, nor a couple others that I'm dissecting and rebuilding and thus aren't on the 'active' list. So the count is always in flux. Life is unpredictable. Eat dessert first.

LBA is a harsh mistress? More like she is the psycho-girlfriend that breaks into your home and steals your stuff after trashing the place when you try to break up with her.
