If you don't know, then buy 20mm lens.
Buying that lens you will easier learn what you need in the future - wider or longer lens.

What lenses do you have, what do you want to use your new lens for?
You need to be bit more specific about your current line up and needs before any serious advice can come...

I have a 50mm-M f1.7,pentax 10-17 fisheye,18-55 kit lens, and a pentax-A 70-210 lens..i want a wide lens that have a big aperture. my fisheye is wide but its kinda hard to take photos with it,because of the distortion. so, im thinking to buy a wide lens that has less distortion but has big aperture.

Looking at your list of lenses of which i don't have the kit, i would choose the DA14. I bought one in combo with the DA10-17 and i doubt you will be unhappy with it. I have most focal lengths in prime, but not a 20mm. To be honest i cannot decide from what's available, but the sigma 20 wouldn't be close to making the short list, too big and ?? over IQ at larger appertures, for me.

Narrower lens = less Depth of field
Faster aperture = Less depth of field

Since you want OOF backgrounds you should go for Sigma 20/1.8

It really depends what you need the lens for. With your kit, 14/2.8 makes more sense but if above statement is correct in what you want the lens for, then it's correct in it's conclusion that 20/1.8 fits the bill. But then I'd suggest you look at Sigma 24/1.8 or Pentax FA*24/2.
24mm on APSC is still moderate wide angle FOV and even with 24/2 it's not that easy to achieve blury background unles you are up close and personal. Problem is that with sub 28mm lenses on APSC the DOF is big. Really big especially as you focus 3m +.

Regards
P

Or the DA 21 Limited. The FA* 24/2 is overrated. Its worth it if you're shooting film but not otherwise.
