I have also the 31mm and I love it. Although pricy, this lens is superb and it is comparatively easy to get great shorts with it.
I'm assuming you meant shots.

I agree, I've had mine about 2 weeks. My batting average has gone up. I'm still at the bottom of the order but I'm getting better.

Meal looks perfect to me. I'd kill for that dinner, my wife is on a vegetarian kick at the moment so I haven't had a steak in 3 weeks

Twitch, Cruel and unusual punishment is against the charter of human rights.

Go grab a steak and arc up the BBQ. It is every red blooded mans right!

Well, up there with photography in the tree of hobbies is cooking, so I'm not terribly offended

Well, you're welcome to come cook for me any time you want. I'll even let you take photos of the dish before I stick a fork in it!

In all seriousness, nice shots. Looks like you're getting some good use out of the 31 already. I particularly like the first shot of the tower.

Very nice shots!

I think that's a bit of an understatement and it is fair to say that it doesn't get better than that. Maybe there is some Leica lens out there (for $10,000+ or something like that) that does better, but in particular at that focal length the FA 31/1.8's bokeh towers above its peers.
