pentax k mount on a nikon?

Hi, does anyome know if there is a k mount adapter that enables pentax lenses to be used on Nikon DSLRs. And where one can get it if such exists?

Thanks

Yes, they are several of them. Register distance is greater with Pentax so if I'm right there are even adapters without corrective elements in them. So no optical degredation.

No surprise: coupling is merely mechanical so you lose everything modern lenses bring. No AF of course and no auto aperture.
Can't do it now so just search for adapters...

Nikon has the longest registration distance of any of the major SLR manufacturers. This makes Nikon an almost universal donor to other SLRs but makes it impossible to adapt other SLR lenses to Nikon without optical correction. You can force fit a Nikon manual focus lens to Pentax but not the other way around.

Boriscleto is correct that you can force the old NON AI Nikon lens to a Pentax, some will fit better than others but the newer AI lenses will not fit. You can also buy an adapter that will permit any Nikon lens to fit on a Pentax (I have one) but of course the adapter needs a corrective lens with the subsequent picture degradation.

You can remove the corrective glass if you only wish to use Macro.
