Sony AC Close-up Lens VCL-M3358

Hi all,

Just received the Sony VCL-M3358 close-up lens today at work, along with a few step-up rings to use with it. Luckily I broght my camera + DA50-200 with me to work so I could test it straight away.

Here is the close-up lens with its case and pouch:




This is how it looks like with my DA50-200:




And finally some test shots I have taken with it:






The following two photos show how much closer you can get to the subject with the close-up lens attached. Both shot at 200mm at the minimum focusing distance:
Without the attachment lens:


With the attachment lens:


The image quality is not as good as a dedicated macro lens but it is good enough for me. I will be taking it with me on my trip at the end of the year instead of my FA50/2.8 to save some room and weight!
