Hey, can somebody with a large M42 collection tell me if all S-M-C and SMC lenses share the same bottom plate? I mean, I have scratched the one on my 50mm, and am curious if that part from, say, a 135mm, would be the same.
How about the mechanism of that extra pin?

I have a tak 50, tak 55, tak 28 and a tak 135 m42 and all of mine are the same...

I have that piece in my hand right now. It looks like they could have standardized the mount if they really wanted to. In my experience, they did not necessarily emphasize standardization. You'd be gambling that there wasn't some small difference that makes the swap impossible. Also, to get to that mount assembly, you have to take off the trim ring, filter ring, focus ring, DOF scale, and aperture ring. Then it's just three screws.
