| DA*50-135 @ f2.8, looks pretty sharp on close ups. On the original you can even see the strands that dont have water on them. Yeah, I agree the DA* is a good "spider" capturing lens.  On the original, you can clearly see the spider web - not so clear in the reduced resolution:  | |

Hi Christine, I'm just home to see a Polo game and did some testing. Just not very well, since I also made choices about interesting pictures but there is some at f2.8 and f3.2 and 135mm and 123mm.    To be honest my FA*85mm is sharper at f2.0 then the DA* is at f3.2 | |
