Lens cap suggestion for DA 15 ltd

Ok, I received my DA15, but I don't like the cap (just because its screw-in type, otherwise its a nice one). So what you guys are using. It looks to me there is not much space between front element and barrel plane.

Yes, I have the same dilemma. I find myself continuing to use the stock cap, which I would like if it weren't a screw-in.

SOldBear -- it looks like you have a filter on beneath the lens cap? That would obviate the concerns about clearance between the front element and the cap's underside. Or am I misinterpreting the image?

No. There is no filter. I generally don't use filters, unless when I have to.

There is no problem of the front element of the lens touching the underside of the cap. I tested by applying a bit of vaseline under the lens cap and put the cap on. The vaseline was not transferred to the lens. If you're still concerned, but don't want to use a filter, take the glass off from an old filter and use just the ring.

Thanks.

Saw you have a bunch of prime lenses, thought you would be interested in hoods for them.

The lens attached to the camera body is an F-28mm:

And this is a 50mm:
