Pentax K200d and Tokina lens SL-28 MF28mm f2,8


I m new in the forum and i have one problem.
I just bougt in ebay Tokina lens SL-28 MF28mm f2,8 for pentax, but it seems to me that doesnt click to my pentax.
What should I do?

Do you mean that the Tokina doesn't fit in the camera mount?
Could you post a picture of the lens base? Maybe it isn't really for Pentax.

The black 'strip' that protects the aperture lever is far too big. Needs some modification.

Not sure if R-P/K indicates a Ricoh pin. Do some research first about it.

The ring with the ridge on the camera side of the lens is stopping your lens from working with your camera. It is held on by three screws (I think three). Take it off and the lens will work. You can cut the ridge smaller and the put it back on. Look at your other lenses to what it should look like.

Yes, I'm not certain, but I think I see a Ricoh pin - which will be a small, spring-loaded pin, close to diametrically opposite the red dot.

If this is the case, make sure you get rid of it before mounting on your camera! You can do this very easily by removing the back plate from the lens to gain access.
