The M 50 1.2 lens reviewed here seems to have a really high price compared to other M 50 lenses.

But there are a ton used for sell on ebay much cheaper than the other M 50 models. (tons of them under $50) Am I missing something? Just bought one based on the reviews.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking why a f:1.2 lens is more expensive than a f:1.4, or F1.7?

No. I'm asking why all the people that reviewed the lens paid 200-300+ dollars yet this lens is cheaper than all the slower versions on ebay.

I think you've confused the f:2 lens with the f:1.2 lens. The f:2 lens is marked 1:2 and the 1.2 lens is marked 1:1.2. The M50 f2 is a mediocre lens, and the M series did not have a 1:1.2 version. The K and A series 1:1.2 lenses are absolutely stellar, and the fastest glass available from Pentax, so they command a premium.

Some guy was selling 5 on ebay for 40 something a piece so I quickly bought one only to realize there were others even cheaper. Then I started wondering if there was some difference. Are there two different M 50 1.2 lenses? I'm looking at the pics and they all clearly say 1.2 on the front.

The seller was kind enough to cancel the transaction. Got so excited thinking I was getting a bargain I totally spaced on that one.
