weather-sealed normal in the future?

So, presumably the DA* 55mm f/1.4 SDM will be weather sealed -- assumiung that's what the "*" is for. That's nice and all, but what I really want is something in the 28-35mm range to use as an all-weather walkaround. There's also a "DA 35mm SDM" on the roadmap, but without the * by the name, I don't have my hopes up.

Hopefully some of the hinted-at unmapped lenses to be announced next year will include this.
