Ultra wides: Sigma 10-20 or 8-16?

I've been plotting my next lens purchase, and I think it's going to be an ultra wide. On a recent trip my wife had rented one (10-20 I think, but it was for her Nikon so I'm not sure) and I was just blown away by the thing. I've been researching a bit, and am trying to decide between the Sigma 8-16 and the 10-20. Does anyone have both, or at least experience with both? The 10- is faster, but from what I've seen in the Club threads these lenses are generally used stopped down anyway.
What are the pros/cons of each, or are they similar except in length?

I think that 8-16 might be little too wide.
Its is very hard to properly compose with even 10mm, and8mm could only exaggerate that problem.

I've had them both and now have the 8-16. I like having the 12mm-equivalent focal length...it is simply ridiculously wide. Build quality and ergonomics are excellent. The K-5's high-ISO performance renders the aperture difference moot.

The 10-20 is a nice lens too, though. It really comes down to what focal lengths you prefer to shoot with.

Oh yeah, and the 8-16 has this new type of glass that cuts CA way down. Super sharp even in corners as well.

One thing you might want to take note of is that due to its bulbous front element, you won't be able to use filters with the 8-16. It might be something that concerns you, or you might not care at all. However, I've found that I've made a lot of use of GND and ND filters when doing sunrise shots with my 10-20mm.
