wow!

Luckily I know a little French and surmised that the word "monture" means "mount" but the translation had it coming out as "horse" (also a "mount" but not one you can use ON a camera!).

We need some more information. What kind of lens is it (who makes it) and are you just trying to attach it to your camera or something else.

C'est bon? Tres merci!

There we go with the French translations again! What is a tele-self (do I transport myself??).

But seriously, I assume you are trying to get the Tokina lens with an M42 screw mount onto a K mount body. You can do this with an adapter as pictured here:

http://www.pentaxwebstore.com/detail/PTX+30120

They are available directly from Pentax for about $30 US or less on eBay.

Some adapters have a large flange as pictured below:

http://cgi.ebay.com/M42-SCREW-MOUNT-LENS-PENTAX-K-ADAPTER-/220776027138?pt=L...item336746d402

Do NOT get this type of adapter as it will not allow the lens to focus to infinity. The first type illustrated will work fine for the M42 lens to K mount camera application.

Comprendez vous? C'est claire?

Cordialement,

And by-the-way, there are some instructions in the Pentax forums on the best way to put the adapter on and take it off.

Cordialement,
