Minolta MD mount is like that: opposite to Pentax.

I think it is definitely an M42 lens, but although the focusing ring is like the last versions of the SMC Taks with rubber and 2 chrome rings (like my SMC tak 55/2) the aperture is backwards and focusing distance scale is not windowed like ALL my taks.

What I meant was-
The lens in your post has an aperture ring that runs opposite the lens in the OP.

Other than that they look a bit similar in terms of focus ring, colours, etc.

Super Travenar 28 f2.8 with a 62mm filter ring ?

the aperture numbers are reversed, but there are many similarities.

The Super Travenar is also seen as - Osawa, Pallas Auto Dyna, Reflex, Super Carenar, and Possibly “Bushnell” ( Bausch & Lomb)
I have seen it claimed that it's the same as a Vivitar and a Soligor.

@Lloydy,
The 77xxxx serial could indicate your Travenar was made by Kobori. I have zero experience with such, unless the Fujinon 55/2.2 (also 77xxxx, M42, auto-only) that I sold was from Kobori. (I don't bother with auto-only M42's!) My only M42 28/2.8 with a 62mm front thread is a Chinon, but it's back at home so I can't compare it with the OP's picture. Without more pictures and info, which OP says are not forthcoming from a non-communicative seller, ID'ing the lens in question is probably impossible.
