Tamron 135mm f/2.8

Hi,

Can anyone tell me something about this lens? It was offered to me for 80 euros and seemed pretty tempting. But I aready own the Pentax m-135 3.5.

Is it worth to buy? Or is the IQ the same?

There are several Tamron 135mm's. Both a Tamron adaptamatic, adaptal, and adaptal 2 versions, plus some fixed mount versions. I have the Adaptal 2 version.

Wait for an Adaptall-2 version, 03B 135/2.5. Eighty Euros for the 135/2.8 version is quite steep, imo.

I haven't had much luck with the Tamrons 135's I'm afraid.

I've tried the 03B 135/2.5 and one other older model and wasn't impressed at all with the performances in terms of CA and contrast. Which may or may not of had anything to do with the size of the built-in hood. But that's what I found anyways.
