I've posted all these before, if it stops raining I'll get fresh ones, but each taken with a different Voightlander:

The highly underrated 20mm, impossible to make flare:

The 40mm, a real surprise, a great lens:

The 58mm legendary dreamyness and bokeh:

The 90mm, probably my favorite, does everything from landscape to closeups, and great bokeh too:

The rare 180, I'm still learning about it:

Wow, nice images! I particularly like the second and fourth; I love the colors in the second, and the 'feel' of the fourth.

Thanks Steve, you might guess my favorite of yours was the first one of the isolated flower, lovely.

Huh! I never knew the 20 had such flare resistance. Cool! I've long admired the 90 and the 125.

Check out this fairly extensive review (though the VL is being used on a Nikon), where he tests the VL 20mm against the Zeiss 18, and also does some flare tests.

Thanks, Les. I really like the first one better, but I keep looking at the second one because of the way it looks almost glassy in the OOF area (because of the frequency of the weave in the curtain). Just thought it was interesting

Incidentally, they're the same shot with different focus points.

Actually, the review seems to be comparing it to the Zeiss 21, a much more respected lens. Not exactly a glowing review, but certainly not bad for the money. I personally might prefer it to the Zeiss because the Zeiss is just so huge and expensive for a FL that I just wouldn't use much (assuming I could still find one).

I love these lenses, but I think I'll end up with the DA15. I just can't reliably focus manual focus wide angle lenses. I mean, I can do the hyperfocal thing, but I like to be able to shoot close up @ f4 and 5.6, and I can't focus 'em well enough. I tried with the Sigma 10-20, and just can't do it reliably.

Yeah, it renders a little darker in srgb than Prophoto colorspace. I need to figure that out.

It's about half a stop difference. Still may be darker than some people like, but when you already like 'em dark... (well, it was sunset, and very dark out there anyway, and I kinda like the gloom, etc) an extra half stop is a lot.

Whooped? LOL. I like it so far. It's very interesting. Finicky, but rewarding

I do love the limited lenses, pixie dust or no.
