Do you still shoot 50mm?

Do you still shoot with 50mm prime on DSLR?

Just wondering.

I do, but in many cases it's longer than i want and my 28 is slower than i want
I think I could do away with my 28, all my 50s, keeping one 55 and live quite happily with a 31 ltd (of course it won't happen,I'd really have to sell of my Medium format to afford one)

I shoot the 50 on my 645 pretty regularly as well, but there it's a nice wide angle (approx a 30mm in 35 mm terms or a 20/21 on apsc)

Sold my 50mm

I sold my 50mm and tend to shoot about between 70mm and 105mm for most of my shots. I find 50mm to be too close to the subject.

This is of course talking about portraits.

This time of year most of my shots are with the Sigma A 50mm f/2.8 macro.

I shoot macro with my FA50 macro, and shoot a lot of portrait and low light with my F50 f1,7. There's no working around using a fast lens often.
