Affordable portrait lens recommendation please

I would guess that the reason is that there are probably a lot more Tak 55s out there than K 55s, so there will be a lot more Tak users than K users. I doubt there's any difference at all, optically - particularly as you have the S-M-C version. So don't fret!

Yeah, even before I knew it was a favored lens (the 55/1.8), i always went to it first before my other 50 (pentax-m 50/1.4). I love the IQ on it.
