As you'll see if you search for the many other threads on this topic, there aren't a lot of choices in that price range. The Zenitar 16 fisheye is basically it for lenses significantly wider than 18 (being a fisheye, it feels much wider than other 16's). The DA16-45 is another possibility but not as wide. Beyond that, you need to expect to spend more for any of the various 10-20, 10-24, or 12-24 zooms, or the DA15 or DA14.

Welcome to the forum.
I'm assuming you're looking for a lens to fit a Pentax dSLR.
If so, your options are limited to autofocus zoom lenses with 16mm widest focal length (i.e. DA 16-45) or a manual focus lens such as the Zenitar 16mm f/2.8 fish eye. Have a look through this forum's Pentax Reviews - Pentax Lens Reviews & Pentax Lens Database for more possibilities within your budget.

The Zenitar 16/2.8 (a bit fishy on a Pentax dSLR) is the most reasonable, probably around US$200. Using software to defish the images, it is equivalent to about 12mm.

I have seen users complaining of returning 2-3-4 Sigma 10-20's before getting a good copy. If you go that route, be certain that you can return the lens if necessary.

As mentioned, other WIDE options are not cheap, except the Vemar 12/8 fisheye, which has problems. If you want to legally obtain any but the Zenitar or Sigma, raise your budget.

For $300 and under you're looking at used glass. The Samyang 14mm is close to that new but manual focus.
