That is also a phenomenal lens, if you don't mind manually focusing it. It's a joy to use, and more versatile than the FA77. Also much cheaper, though they have stopped making it....you'll likely have to buy it used.
But for pure portraits, if you have the working distance, I like the 77. Focal length is a personal thing, but I've found I like 100mm on full frame, and I prefer a little more distance from my subjects. So while 77 on APS-C is a little longer than perfect, 58 on APS-C is closer than I want, myself.
