I tripped over this rare 600MM Pentax Taky 6x7 F4 FYI With the 6x7 to K mount adapter you are there with a lot less cash out. I think this is a monster:

WOW! Incredible lens. It must be very expensive, no? How is its IQ? Top notch I'd expect.

Pity that the Sigma 300-800/5.6 is not available in Pentax mount.

It runs around $7k from what I have read around and it has a minimum focus distance of 11.5 feet while weighing in at 12 pounds!
