Picked up this lens in pretty much mint condition inside and out; it was part of a $20 bundle--in which I also got a very nice Sunpak 30dx auto/manual 120GN tilt/swivel flash, dedicated to Pentax.
The lens is an A lens (f stop setting can be controlled by camera body), is made of machined metal, heavy, relatively fast lens. The coating looks nice. No zoom creep (yet at least)--the zoom is stiff. Very nice long, smooth, precise focus throw. Comes with a slide out lens hood. Has macro to focus in pretty close, like 2 or 3 feet at 250mm.
Here is a link to a pic I took with it at 250mm, f8, slightly cropped. Contrast adjusted up slightly in photo editor.
