It is a Ricoh/Rikenon K mount lens. It will mount but.......

Be very very careful of the 'Ricoh pin'

The difference between K mount and KR is a tiny pin which has no use on a Pentax camera, but may get caught in the AF drive of the K mount and get the lens stuck on your camera.

The pin can be removed if you are game enough to open the lens, or ground off using a small Dremel or similar.

Yes, it should be very easy to remove the lens back plate from your lens and get rid of the offending pin (by the way, it's the one more or less diametrically opposite the red dot). The dremel sounds a bit nasty (and unnecessary) to me.

Do not be tempted to mount it on your camera until you've done this!

Bear in mind that there are two varieties of Ricoh pins -- the actual protruding pin, which should be removed; and a rounded nub, which is no trouble. I have never encountered the toxic pin. I have read that if you hold a KR lens and manipulate the aperture ring and levers, the pin will extrude. So, that's a test to see if you need to pull the lens apart, remove the pin, and reassemble. Various threads here discuss that minor surgery. Good luck!

It's a snap to remove the Ricoh pin. Takes 5 minutes. Here's how:

Before I learnt there could be a problem I made the same mistake, ending up with a Ricoh-mount lens apparently "permanently" mounted on my Pentax camera.

Some frenzied research later led me to the conclusion that if the pin on the lens had dropped into a recess on the camera, the only thing that was likely to get damaged was the lens, so I got a "bit brutal" with it, and after a bit of "firm" wriggling and twisting, the problem pin retracted sufficiently to allow me to remove the lens. The pin has now been "permanently" retracted so won't cause a problem again

I'm not recommending this procedure as an only solution, but forward it as a possible way out of an otherwise awkward situation.

Good luck
