Nice idea, but I've been searching for Kenko extension tube for pentax and no luck finding any so far?
Believe I will purchase a pentax 50-135 lens. But looking for good extension tubes so I can experiment with some macro on this lens. Any suggestions on good extension tubes greatly appreciated.

There is no optic in tubes so the difference is in handling only. You may not need the tubes to be AF as the Kenko is, but at least they have to support electrical contacts. Manual tubes are useless with DA lens.

Sooner or later you will anyway end up buying a dedicated macro lens (if you will enjoy macro). But even with macro lens the tubes will be useful to get even greater magnification. I personally consider macro lenses around 100mm to be boring. I have 50 and 180mm macro.

Thanks and you read my mind....I probably will end up purchasing a dedicated macro lens at some point in time. I have some older Pentax equipment from my film days, sigma 100-200 macro, sigma 28-80, pentax 100mm which I can experiment with. Appreciate all the information and kindness from everyone for my first posting.
