Concerns about DA 18-135mm corner IQ at 135mm

Is the DA 18-135mm lens really as bad as Photozone tested it to be at 135mm? ePHOTOzine's MTF charts seem to agree with Photozone's results. I'd like to see pictures from this lens at or near 135mm with 100% corner crops, so that I can determine whether this really is an issue.

Given its price, I opted to pick up an 18-55 WR for those high humidity situation and drizzly days. It has been lambasted in some places. That said, there are some nice images on the PentaxGallery from the 18-135 WR lens. I decided to wait and see on this lens.

Unfortunately, those pictures are not of high enough resolution and are not at or near 135mm. Can someone post 100% corner crops from the DA 18-135mm lens at about 105 to 135mm?

So the DA 18-135mm lens isn't really that bad... perhaps those test units had some defects after all. I'll get it when I save up enough money, and I'll test it for myself. If it doesn't work out, I'll exchange it for another one. Thanks!
