why would they be 'clearing out' the FA 50 1.4? Does this mean they are not carrying it anymore or that Pentax is not going to make them anymore? Or is it simply one of those inventory reduction things...

Just curious.

All that said, it was just me saying that they are clearing them out, who knows, maybe they just want to sell them really cheap?! But seriously, it was on a "Buy it Now" price, which usually means they won't be carrying that item again.

I also noticed that London Drugs also don't have that much Pentax Cameras and Lenses as well. that is however in the Downtown Vancouver branch.

For 250, I don't think you will ever find a finer autofocus 50mm prime.

Buy this! They are cheaper then you commonly see used 50 1.4s go for!
