I shot my niece's wedding with a DA*16-50 and DA*50-135mm on a K20d last March, as a guest photographer and also just to get the experience.
Majority of the photos were taken with the 16-50, but after the main event the 50-135 was great for candids and portraits. The wedding was indoors and lighting was tricky. I thought the results were more than acceptable. And for posed portraits of guests with the bride and groom where flash was allowed, I used the 16-50 with a AF 540 with a diffuser -- my results were a little disappointing but mainly because I wasn't too comfortable with the flash at that time plus I ran into issues with battery recycle times.
If I were to do it again thought, I'd probably try to do it with just one lens, Tamron 28-75.
