woa, thanx for sharing... if it's anything like the 28-75mm f/2.8, I'm with ya. I'm going to feel so guilty only owning 2 Pentax lenses....

Would love to buy Pentax glass (zoom) this long and fast but they just don't wanna make'm.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pentax works something out with Tamron m8o, they've been known to before.

Well I am trying to consolidate my lens from a collection to a functional few. I am a step away from buying the Tamron 28-75mm. I was looking to buy the 70-300mm as well (and still will) but when I was on their site I saw that listed in the PDF but not in they 'production' list. So I did some research and found that link. If it performs as well and I can get it is reasonably priced (~$700) then I think I will jump on it. Two quality lenses for my day to day and my VIVs for macro work. Then I can start investing money into lighting.
