3" length max

Any suggestions on a lens that is 3" long or less?

I'm planning to go to a Cowboys game, and their stadium's rule is:
Cameras
Compact Cameras (still only) are permitted inside Cowboys Stadium as long as their use does not interfere with the event or other guests' enjoyment of the event. Video Cameras, tripods, monopods and cameras with a lens longer than 3" (detachable or non-detachable) are prohibited inside Cowboys Stadium.

Thanks!

The 18-135mm I'd say

https://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/SMC-Pentax-DA-18-135mm-F3.5-5.6-ED-AL-IF-DC-WR.html

Length is 76mm, 3in = 76.2mm

Just for the OPs sake - would this be the length fully extended? That is where the OP is likely to use it...

Unless they measure the lens once it's fully zoomed?

I've gotten by this rule by taking a zoom (like the 28-300 or 18-250) that zooms longer than this, but I lock it so that it doesn't. Retracted, it's less that 3". Just be careful waving it around your seats.

Another option would be one of the 500mm f/6.7 mirror lenses. They should be less than 3" and you'll get great reach. Of course, it's manual focus, but you can get some good shot with prefocusing to a spot.

No kidding, the 18-135 WR fits, huh? Well then the wife just absolutely MUST agree on the lens.

I guess the concern is how strict they are at Cowboys Stadium. Have you any experience there, Russ?

Thanks!

You could make a lot of bad jokes about 3 inch limits but given the reality of this specific point I would take my kodak evf camera

The FA135/2.8 might just barely squeeze under 3 inches, as would the DA50-200.
