You might consider getting a 24mm lens for your wide. It'll be a bit more expensive than a 28 though. You could also try and find a 17mm Tokina for the wide.

agree with u... i think that for macro, your panagor 90 will suffice for now. what u need to do is consider your flash setup.

for wide, frankly, i'm gonna go with the cheapest, most versatile option: DA18-55WR. 24mm is not wide on an APS-C. if u wanna go super wide, consider the sigma 10-20.

Portraits, any of the fast 50mm will do. my vote is for the A50f1.4, or the FA50 f1.4 if u want AF.

That's a good setup then. Don't buy the wide angle just yet, just the M50 1.7. My favorite portrait lens is the Helios 44-2 58mm F2.0 though. It is an M42 mount, but the pictures just look cool. I bought my Helios for 30 dollars. If you were to buy a cheap m42 to K adapter(8 dollars) and remove the spring and pin you could leave the adapter on the lens and basically convert it to a K mount. The M50 1.7 is probably your best bet to have something for low light though.

Pentax A has auto aperture. It's better, but more expensive. I think the optics are the same. That is the best adapter, it's on backorder though. I'm waiting for mine to arrive. If you want to mount the adapter to the lens instead of the body that's the wrong one though. If you're going to get a lot of M42 lenses I recommend the pentax one. If you want a cheap adapter to modify and leave on the lens buy something like this M42 Lens To Pentax PK K Mount Adapter Focus Infinity | eBay
