Hey guys, I have a problem with a lens I got with one of my old Pentax's that I'm trying to get working properly to use it with my new DSLR

It all seemed to be working fine when I first got it until the front lens gradually started to become loose and eventually unscrewed itself, and I can't see how to get it on properly.

There seems to be two different threads it has to screw into, a fixed inner thread and an outer thread that seems to be loose and moves with the zoom.

I'm just wondering how to screw it in really. I can get it so its tight but then the focus doesn't work when I try to change it, which is the main problem really. It's such an old lens that I don't think its really worth the money it would cost to take to a repair shop and get them to look at it, and for all I know it may be a very simple fix, but if I can't get it to work its not the end of the world
