Tokina | Zoom Super W/A AF 20-35mm f/2.8 AT-X 235AF | ATX235AFP

Sigma | 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC Macro Lens for Pentax | 669109

Hi folks..
I amtrying to decide between these two..
On one hand I like the idea of the 17mm F2/8 of the sigma, but then the Tokina sounds pretty good as well...

Does anybody have these?
What say you..?

the 17-70 will be more versatile. That being said, I use the pentax FA 20-35 as my main lens and don't feel too limited. If you need the extra reach, get the 17-70. I can't comment on the image quality of either, though. anyone else?

Depends what other lenses you have, and what you like to shoot.

I decided I am going to get this one. Pentax | SMCP-DA* 16-50mm f/2.8 ED SDM Lens | 21650 | B&H Photo
since I have the 50-135 Big brother to it...
I was looking for a good museum type lens...so it needs to be fairly good in the dark..Today I went to one and took my Tamron 18-250 and my Tamron 20-70F/2.8 ...While the 18-250 had good range, it was really slow to focus and I had to crank up the ISO to 1600...The 28-70 F/2.8 worked real well, but not quite short enough...Just barely...
